Inventory Health and Maintenance

Inventory Health and Maintenance

👉
In this chapter, you will learn how to utilize LAAM's Seller App to effectively monitor inventory health. It will guide you through the necessary steps to keep your inventory up-to-date and provide insights into the significance of inventory management.

LAAM Inventory Module (FBL-Based)

To ensure seamless operations, LAAM follows a centralized inventory and order processing system called Fulfillment by LAAM (FBL). This module is designed to provide fast, reliable, and efficient delivery while reducing operational delays and minimizing errors across the order lifecycle.

🔄 What is Fulfillment by LAAM (FBL)?

Fulfillment by LAAM means that LAAM manages the inventory and order dispatch process on behalf of the brand. Here's how it works:

  1. Pre-Stocking Inventory: LAAM’s logistics team collects stock in advance from the brand’s warehouse and transfers it to the LAAM central warehouse.
  2. Order Processing: Once a customer places an order, the LAAM warehouse team immediately packs and ships the product without needing to wait for the vendor to send it post-order.
  3. Inventory Live Requirement
  4. Products will only go live on the LAAM platform once the stock has been successfully received and recorded at the LAAM warehouse. This ensures real-time inventory accuracy and avoids selling unavailable items.

Xpress Shipping – The Fastest Delivery Experience

One of the key advantages of the FBL model is Xpress Shipping. Because inventory is already stored at LAAM’s facility, there is no delay in pickup or vendor coordination. As soon as an order is confirmed:
