Packaging Guidelines

  1. Recommended Packaging
    • Aimed at uplifting brand standards and providing a premium unboxing experience.
    • Encouraged for vendors looking to enhance customer perception and brand value.
  2. Acceptable Packaging
    • Meets the bare minimum requirements to ensure product safety and compliance with platform packaging standards.
    • Does not necessarily reflect a premium brand image but is functionally sufficient.
  3. Definition of Damaged Cellophane
    1. Includes any of the following conditions:

    2. Ruptured or torn wrapping
    3. Loss of adhesive quality (non-stickiness)
    4. Use of low-grade or poor-quality polythene material

Given that LAAM fulfills orders and ships products globally, box packaging should be prioritized for jewelry due to the following reasons:

  1. Product Safety:
  2. Jewelry is delicate and prone to damage during transit. Box packaging provides a rigid and secure structure that minimizes the risk of breakage, bending, or tangling — especially over long international shipping routes.

  3. Branding and Presentation:
  4. The unboxing experience is crucial for luxury and lifestyle categories. A well-designed box not only enhances the perceived value of the product but also reinforces the brand’s premium positioning in the customer’s mind.

  5. Professionalism and Consistency:
  6. Uniform box packaging across vendors and product lines helps maintain standardization , improving customer trust and reflecting well on LAAM as a curated marketplace.
